"Peru has a rich history of producing textiles dating back to the Incan and Pre-Incan eras. One of the most unique facets of Peruvian textiles is clothings made from Alpaca Wool, as Peru is home to the largest population of Alpacas.
According to PromPeru, Alpaca wool powers 16% of Peru's textile industry, as the goods are exported to 45 countries around the world and can be found in markets and high-fashion branded stores across Peru."
