The missing part in my book was what is it that you do with your strop to keep it in great condition? This thing gives so much to your razors. Do you put oil on it or something specifically for strops?

Seven (7) Steps to Properly Keep a Strop in Good Condition:
1. Take Apart Strop (if possible)
2. Sand the Suede to Take Off any Hard Areas
3. Rub in Fiebing's Yellow Saddle Soap
4. Rinse in Sink and use a Brush
5. Let Dry Over Night
5. Rub in Obenauf's LP Boot Preservative into First the Smooth Side of the Leather on all Leather Parts
6. Then Rub in Obenauf's LP Boot Preservative on the Suede Side and Edges of all Leather Parts
7. Next Heat up the Leather without Over Heating
(I will use a Heat Gun, but you could use a Blow Dryer or anything)
