전교생 기숙학교인 석모도 승영중학교에서
🎤 박승 전 한국은행 총재의 강연이 있었습니다.

🇰🇷 대한민국 경제사의 한 축을 맡았던 경제학의 거목과
👩‍🎓👨‍🎓 전교생 80명, 초미니 중학교의 만남.
이 만남은 예사롭지가 않습니다.

✨ 그렇습니다.
승영중학교는 비록 작지만 예사로운 학교가 아닙니다.

⛪ 이사장 노재환 목사의 말씀에,
“🔦 레이저를 쏘면서 박승 총재님의 강의를 들으면
앞으로 우리 승영중학교에서 한국은행 총재 나온다!”

🗣️ 박승 총재님의 말씀.
“우리나라 대통령 중 두 명이 섬에서 났다.
앞으로 더 나온다면 석모도 승영중학교에서…”

👴 1936년생, 올해 90세.
박승 총재님의 이야기는
🌍 세계 최빈국에서 선진국으로 도약한 대한민국의 발자취입니다.

‘거울특강’이라는 이름을 헌정합니다.

at Seungyoung Middle School on Seokmodo, a full boarding school,
🎤 a special lecture was held by Park Seung, former Governor of the Bank of Korea.

🇰🇷 A towering figure in Korean economic history

👩‍🎓👨‍🎓 a super-small middle school with just 80 students.
This encounter is anything but ordinary.

✨ Indeed.
Though small in size, Seungyoung Middle School is no ordinary school.

⛪ In the words of Chairman Rev. Jae-hwan Noh,
“🔦 If you listen to Governor Park’s lecture as if a laser were focused on your mind,
one day, a future Governor of the Bank of Korea will surely come from Seungyoung Middle School!”

🗣️ In Governor Park’s own words:
“Two of Korea’s presidents were born on islands.
If more are to come, perhaps the next will be from Seungyoung Middle School on Seokmodo Island…”

👴 Born in 1936, now 90 years old,
Governor Park’s life story reflects
🌍 the footsteps of Korea’s rise from one of the poorest nations in the world to a leading advanced economy.
