The last extended part of our manufacturing video • Double Shot Polyurethane Keycaps showing a technique of making a double-shot polyurethane keycap.
This part shows the final step in making a new keycap—with all the moulds prepared in the previous steps, it suffices to cast the white insert and overmold it in black. Both the insert and the final keycap are cast using Smooth-Cast 310 with UVO pigments (1% of the mixture) and Sun-Devil anti-UV agent, all products by Smooth-On.
