Hitman: Codename 47 (commonly abbreviated to "Codename 47" or "C47") is a third-person stealth game developed by IO Interactive and was released in the United States of America on November 19th, 2000 for PC through Eidos Interactive. Codename 47 serves as both the first installment of the Hitman franchise, as well as IO-Interactive's debut in the gaming industry, followed by its sequel in 2002, Hitman 2: Silent Assassin.

Description

After Agent 47's entanglement within the Colombia's jungle, he is sent another mission by the Agency.

Agent 47 is to kill an Austrian terrorist known as Franz Fuchs at the Hotel Gellért. Afterwards, he must collect the chemical bomb that was to be detonated at the United Nations conference taking place at the same location.

Our customer wants terrorist Frantz Fuchs dead and the special chemical bomb that he is planning to use at the hotel.

Frantz Fuchs has arrived to the hotel several days before the convention. He will probably check in under the assumed name Heinrich Wulff. It is very unlikely that Fuchs is hiding the bomb in his hotel room. So you must do some investigation to find some clues.

Metal detectors have been placed at all checkpoints in the hotel. But it is a big hotel and our intelligence has found out that not all routes are blocked.

Investigate the hotel to find a safe escape route. The usual pickup will be waiting for you at the rendezvous point.
