This song is a prayer and an invocation.
I have many people in mind with this song, myself included. It comes into me to address my own egoic existential vulnerabilities, but also because I feel it's like something I want to say to people to help all who might need it to 'keep the faith.'
It's the kind of song that speaks universally, and yet speaks to each soul individually. I don't know quite how that paradoxical x-factor comes about.
As it happens, having recorded it, filmed for it and edited the film, I'm able to publish it on the last day of 2021, as if to close a chapter with it, and open a new one.
