Incidentally, the first time I listened to this track, I just had just gotten home, I was all alone and it was just past midnight. It was a raining, too. I was actually quite spooked...

Out of the originals on ZUN's albums, "Mary the Magician" is still one of my absolute favorites. It is perhaps not the greatest, the most flawless, nor the most innovative; in fact, far from. But on a personal level, it somehow stuck with me and even though the main melody is so incredibly simple I never seem to get tired of it.
