With ever increasing maintenance being put into the LSRC Huron Sub, six axle locomotives on these trains are starting to become a common occurrence. Summer 2024 marked the first time LSRC sent up a six axle, that being 6305 which since then has been a regular up here over the summer and into the fall. Recently 6301 made it's first ever run up to Alpena which was seen in the last clip of this video. At the time of this video so far, none of LSRC's SD50's or SD70's have made it up to Alpena. None of the SD40's have led a southbound yet either which currently would be the only way to catch one of these leading up here in daylight.
