With the Mamelukes in Husn Fulq pacified the Grand Shahzade turns his attention to the old enemy of the Darshi Shahdom; the Calradic Empire, or in this case whatever remains of it. An agreement with the Aserai to turn over any land the Darshi conquer secures the support of the desert tribes, and soon the Sultan marches alongside the former foe.
The earlier loss of Lycaron to the Western Empire dampen the spirits of the Southern Empire soldiers on their way to defend their borders against the expedition from the east.
