STRANGER Things is set to return for a third series after making fans patiently wait for it.

Here's everything you need to know about when its out, who's in the cast and what will happen...

Netflix confirmed on Friday, December 1, 2017, that there would be a Stranger Things season three.

An exact date for the third series has not yet been confirmed.

But judging by the gap between season one and two, fans should expect season three to air sometime at the end of 2018 or early 2019.

It has been confirmed that the new series will have eight episodes and the cast were spotted filming in Atlanta in June, 2018.
