Dongbaek Village's camellia oil I 제주 동백기름

Dongbaek (Camellia) Village on June 26 was named a gastronomy tourism benchmark by the U.N. World Tourism Organization.

The village strives to pass on its cultural resources and culture of over 300 years.

Korea.net on Sept. 5 visited a village mill to see how residents use dongbaek trees. Elderly women collect seeds and send them to the mill, where a research center uses them to make camellia oil.
