Hey guys an welcome back to Mad About Skin where in todays video I wanted to share with you the best European sunscreen which have been tried, tested and verified and will make amazing additions to your skincare routine.

Helping you to find the best sunscreen for face and body which will give you guaranteed protection and an elegant application - lets explore European sunscreens.

Sunscreens vary a lot depending on where in the world they are manufactured and under different regulations:

US Sunscreens - these are required by the FDA to use older style UV filters which tend to be heavier and thicker which leaves products seeming less lightweight on the skin and less elegant in application. The filters work well and the texture doesnt impact the performance of the product but they are not the go to for many who prefer a smoother application

Korean Sunscreen - Korean sunscreens use almost exclusively new generation UV filters which are lightweight, more hydrating and better on application than some of the older versions. The Korean sunscreen scandal showed some of the limitations in the Korean regulations but a lot of these loopholes have been closed now in order to restore faith in the market and K-sunscreens.

European sunscreens - these tend to blend older style UV filters and new generation ones which delivers the broadest protection along with a more lightweight application. Europe has some of the stricter sunscreen regulations in the world to add to consumer confidence and and generally speaking European sunscreens tend to offer greater UVA protection.

There are good and bad brands in all markets and its worth remembering this when you choose your sunscreen but I hope this gives you some suggestions to find the right sunscreen for your individual skin type

NOTE: mineral sunscreens are not as common in Europe as they are in other areas of the world which is why you find fewer in this list but again it comes to personal preference and there are some out there so please let me know in the comments if you would like some suggestions.
