Lee Tracey - On Being Gay in the 1950s and 60s HD 2019

Back in January this year Vaudeville Funtimes went to Benidorm with David Deeley to interview Comedian and Female Impersonator - Lee Tracey. This clip is from the main interview: A candid glimpse into Lee´s life and the struggles he faced in society with being accepted as a gay man in a 1950s and 60s Britain.

Following the success of Lee´s first book "What Will The Neighbours Say", he is now working on the sequel which should be available shortly.

In 2017 comedian and female impersonator Lee Tracey appeared in Simon Napier Bell´s documentary film “Fifty Years Legal”, which examined the changes that have taken place since homosexuality was decriminalised in the UK in 1967 and the influence of gay culture on society.

Following the 2017 documentary Lee received numerous calls and messages asking him to elaborate on that dark period of history prior to 1967; this prompted Lee to begin writing these amazing books.
