They embody true contemporary artist-citizens, advocating for neglected works of the Jewish diaspora and composers of today alongside their interpretations of the standard literature. The Amernet's journeys have led to projects as diverse as Jeffery Briggs’ re-imaginations of Beethoven’s 32 piano sonatas for string quartet and collaborations with attorney Alan Dershowitz alongside performances with live electronics in Taipei, with Dance Heginbotham and flamenco artists in Miami, and for audiences hearing quartets for the first time in Barranquilla, Colombia or the deserts of Israel.
