Final Charcoal and Pastel Sketch of a Whippet

This video is a timelapse of me creating a second and more polished drawing of a whippet using willow charcoal, charcoal pencil and white pastel pencil on Ingres grey toned paper. This finished drawing is 30x30cms, so larger than the previous preliminary sketch, which was done on A4 white sketchbook paper. I talk through my process and my reasoning for trialling this new approach to drawing... a preliminary sketch followed by a more polished drawing. I'm usually a one sitting, alla prima type artist!
