Welcome to Part 2 of 'The Bible in Song'.
Part 2 consists of the Life of Abraham.
This collection of songs traces the long, faithful, and often costly pilgrimage of Abraham... a man called by God to leave what was familiar and walk toward a promise he could not yet see.
These songs are not meant to replace the reading of your Bible, but rather to add to its depth. Reflecting through melody, on the moments of obedience, doubt, love, loss, and hope that shaped Abraham’s journey. All songs are meant to follow the Biblical narrative closely except for the last song. The last song weaves imagination in through the prophetic and inspirational undertones of the Biblical text.
My hope is, that as you listen, you'll be able to see the Love of God, and recognize the foretelling of the Gospel through the prophetic life of Abraham.
