23. 25mL of fairly concentrated sulphuric acid is diluted in a 250ml volumetric flask. 25mL of the diluted solution required 20ml of N/10 (f- 1.05) NaOH solution for complete neutralization. Find normality and molarity of the concentrated acid solution.
24. 0.84g of acid of molecular weight 150 was dissolved in water and made up to 100ml.. 25mL of this solution required 28mL N/10 NaOH solution for complete neutralization. Calculate the basicity of the acid.
25. 4g of NaOH was added to 20cc of 2N H₂SO4 solution and the volume was diluted to one litre. Predict whether the dilute solution is acidic, basic, or neutral, and also calculate the resulting normality of the dilute solution in terms of gram/litre.
26. If 20 mL of 0.5N NaOH is mixed with 30ml of 0.3N HCI, is the resulting solution acidic or basic? Calculate normality for the acidic or basic final solution.
27. If 100mL of 1M H₂SO4 and 100mL of 1M NaOH are mixed, calculate the concentration of the resulting solution for acid left and salt formed.
28. 5g of oxalic acid crystals (H₂C204xH₂O) are dissolved in water and the solution is made up to 250ml. If 25mL of this solution required 15.9mL of NaOH for neutralization. Calculate water of crystallization of oxalic acid crystals.
29. 10g sample of Godavari marble requires 170mL of 0.92N HCI till effervescence ceases. Find percentage purity of CaCO, in the sample.
30. 0.5g of a mixture of NH4CI and NaCl was boiled with 25mL of 0.95N NaOH in a vessel till all the ammonia is expelled. The residual solution was cooled and then made up to 100mL. It was found that 10mL of the diluted residual solution neutralizes 16mL of standard N/10 (f = 1.06) H₂SO4 Calculate % of pure NH4Cl in the mixture.
31. 2.84mL of "Chamber's acid" is made up of a litre solution. 50mL of this solution neutralize 38.2mL of N/10 Na₂CO3 solution. Find the percentage of sulphuric acid in the "Chamber acid", if its specific gravity is 1.71.
