How to use the detachable grain hopper on a STAS moving floor trailer

How to transport grain very efficiently without sacrificing any flexibility of your moving floor trailer?
Thanks to the detachable grain funnel, you can easily unload grain into a dump pit. When you're done, you can remove the grain funnel and store it underneath the trailer chassis. This allows you to have the full functionality of a standard moving floor rear end, while enjoying the ease-of-use and safety of a specialised grain funnel.
Furthermore, the hopper is painted in the color of the walking floor chassis.

The detachable grain hopper is available in two versions: 300 millimeters high, and 500 millimeters high.

How to use the detachable grain hopper:
1. Open your left side protection
2. Pull the locking pin on the side of the grain hopper backwards and turn it 90 degrees to lock it in the open position
3. Slide the grain hopper outwards
4. Slide the two guide tubes into the holes under the rear door
5. Secure the detachable grain hopper in place with the drop lock
6. Open the hatch under the hopper (if applicable)

You are now ready to start the unloading procedure.
To detach the grain hopper:

1. Shut down your moving floor system
2. Close the hatch under the hopper (if applicable)
3. Release the drop lock and slide the grain funnel out of the holes
4. Slide the hopper back in position underneath the chassis
5. Align the hole in the hopper with the locking pin and turn the pin 90 degrees to secure the hopper in place
6. Close the left side protection

You are now ready to go out on the road again.
