This video captures the SETS Chopper to the Summit C Set Farewell Tour that took place on Saturday 6th March 2021
In this video, you'll see Chopper C Sets C1 and C5 as they travel on the Western Line from Strathfield to Penrith and then on to the Blue Mountains Line to Mount Victoria.
The section from Springwood to Mount Victoria is the first time a C Set (or other type of Fluted Stainless Steel suburban train) has travelled beyond Springwood.
This Chopper C Set then returned back down the Blue Mountains Line to Parramatta and then took a short detour to Fairfield, before returning to Strathfield. The final part of the tour was via Epping, Hornsby to Hawkesbury River Station and back.
In this video of the Sydney Trains C Set farewell, you'll experience the atmosphere onboard, especially towards the end.
