Item title reads - The Thames in full flood. Thames Valley towns imperilled as swollen river overflows its banks following unprecedented rainfall. Maidenhead, Berkshire.
M/S as cars and motorcycles drive up the flooded street, splashing through the water. A bus drives up followed by a van. M/S of a pub "The Ark" selling "Nicholson's Stout", the camera pans down to people walking across a plank of wood to avoid the water and get in the pub. L/S of others walking up and down makeshift walkways above the water level, one lady has her two dogs with her.
M/S of two men sat on a fence just above the water line, a bus splashes through. A lady stood at the other side of the road laughs as a car gets stuck in the water and starts to steam. M/S as two men tow the car while another pushes, a man sits on the bonnet.
