Today we continue on the fix up of my son's Pontiac G8. When we bought this car he said he wanted a set of stock 20" Camaro SS wheels. In this video I wanted to replace the brakes and show you how I do this on a Pontiac G8. While this is a V6 G8 the process to replace the brakes should be the same for a V8 or G8 GT. I wanted to upgrade the brakes since the wheels would show more of them. I also think they will offer some additional stopping for a new driver. The zinc wash keeps the rotors looking new for a long time. While it was all apart we painted the brake rotors with the G2 Caliper Paint. This is very easy to apply and looks great when finished. To go with the new Pontiac G8 Brake replacement we add a set of those 20" Camaro SS wheels he was wanting. I have to say the Pontiac G8 with Camaro Wheels looks great and they fit well. I also show you the tires sizes that G8 owners need for Camaro wheels. I try to also include all the torque specs for the Pontiac G8 Brake Replacement as well. This thing is really starting to look great. Also as a added surprise for my son, my wife and I decided to give him an early Christmas Present. That is what the subwoofers and amp are for. To install the amp and Subs with the stock radio on the Pontiac G8 I used a new product from audio control called the lci2 pro. This is an awesome product that allows you to adjust several cool options. My son's face when we showed him was priceless. I think he will have the battery dead soon from playing it. LOL
