Chisapani literally translates to “cold water” in Nepali. It lies in the Shivapuri National Park and is also the gateway to the Langtang-Gosainkunda trekking region. It is 22 kilometers from Gokarna, Kathmandu and lies at 2200 meters of altitude. This is one of the best places to spend a night celebration and enjoy the best sunrise and sunset over panoramic mountains. Superb mountain views of Langtang range, Dorje Lakpa, Gaurishankar and more can be seen from here. Green forest and tranquil natural, views of local villages are another attraction from Chisapani.
