it's been almost 6 years since the last time I uploaded something on this channel.
in the meantime, I became a professional movie editor and completely stopped editing stuff like this, even tho I often come back to this channel and kind of laugh at my own stuff, and I also still receive notifications of beautiful comments who still warm my heart even tho it's been yeeears

I watched House of Dragon recently and felt the absolute urge to edit something about this marvelous character, I've been extremely sad in the last few months and had several doubts about my life choices and found some relief editing this one, trying to distract myself from real life

I loved this channel, it meant the world to me when life was basically unbearable, and I had so much fun doing this, I feel kind of childish about it but it's been great

about the video, I wanted to do a small character study, and I mainly focused on Daemon's relationship with his brother and how Viserys' total lack of faith in him was probably very painful for him, even tho he always comes off as extremely rude towards his king and brother. It's most likely a defense mechanism; other than that he's also a badass violent murderer and war lord but still loyal and very protective with the people he loves, and Matt Smith embodied perfectly both his menacing traits, irresistible sarcasm and great wit. Averall, I loved him and this is a tribute to that

p.s. I've been reading a lot about the romanticization of this character and people are getting very boring. I mean, liking great writing and acting in a tv show doesn't necessarily make me pro-murder. Life is boring enough, I just want to enjoy a fun character and distract a bit from my boring ass life, thanks
