Volkswagen Group in the late 90's was making supercars and new engines to put in their supercars. Some of them were the Audi Avus Quattro, Volkswagen W12 Syncro, Volkswagen W12 Roadster, Bentley Huanaudieres, Bugatti Chiron 18/3, Audi Rosemeyer, Volkswagen W12 Nardo, Bugatti Veyron W18. If even though many people I mean rich people were interested in these cars the VW Group wasn't going to put any of them in production not because of the cost but because it had Porsche, Lamborghini, Bugatti and if they would sell those cars it would be competitive with the cars meaning that the sales weren't going to please them plus it just wasn't something that those companies usually do. But at least the Porsche Carrera GT, Lamborghini Murcielago, Lamborghini Gallardo and Bugatti Veyron were made.
The Audi Rosemeyer was inspired by The old Audi from the WW2 who was a land speed record car that broke many records at the time and was called Auto Union "Silver Arrows" Grand Prix, the driver who drove the car was named Bernd Rosemeyer. That is the reason why it's named Rosemeyer and has a silver colour.
It uses a WR16 that produces 700 hp
Was made in 2000
It has 760NM Torque
It weights 1,607 kg
Top speed 350 kmh
Acceleration 0 to 100 kmh in 3.6 seconds
