EDEX 2025 Highlights: The Largest Defense Exhibition in the Middle East and Africa

Hanwha Aerospace participated in EDEX 2025, Egypt’s largest defense exhibition held in Cairo from December 1 to 4. At this year’s event, the Hanwha Aerospace unveiled a range of integrated security solutions tailored specifically for the Middle East and Africa (MENA) region.

Centered around enhanced precision-strike capabilities, Hanwha showcased key weapon systems including three variants of the Chunmoo guided missile—with a maximum range of 290 kilometers—alongside the Chunmoo, equipped with an Anti-Ship Ballistic Missile (ASBM) capable of engaging moving maritime targets with high accuracy.

Also showcased were ground-based systems, including the K9 Self-Propelled Howitzer (SPH), the K10 Ammunition Resupply Vehicle for the Egyptian Armed Forces, and, for the first time, the newly revealed K11-N Fire Direction Control Vehicle. These were further complemented by next-generation air-defense capabilities such as the L-SAM, TAipers anti-tank guided missiles, and other advanced assets across land, sea, and air domains.
