CANOE Camping Trip Tennessee Tellico Blueway Primitive Backcountry

We headed out on a 2 day canoe camping trip on the Tellico Blueway. This trip is an 11 mile paddle route with 4 designated campsites parked right in the middle. At the time of posting this video the Campsites were FREE with no reservation needed, first come first serve. The paddle starts from Fair view Boat ramp( Fairview Rd, Tellico Plains, TN 37385) and ends at Ballplay Boat ramp(2664 TN-360, Vonore, TN 37885). Fair view boat ramp is easy to miss its a hidden dirt gravel road/parking lot with a huge water filled pothole in the entrance, it's easy to drive right by. The primitive campsites are VERY overgrown and can be found directly on Cagle Branch road. We'd recommend bringing tall Boots, long pants, and bug spray for the campsites. The campsites are in fact so overgrown we found them hard to locate even with the map. Our best advice is find the EXTREMELY overgrown abandon Cagle road and try follow it to locate campsites. The road in fact really doesn't exist anymore there are huge trees growing in the middle of the road. The only site we found was right on the road. Any markers were worn away overgrown or hidden we only found the site because we located a stone campfire ring. This is a true outdoors adventure.

WE HAD NO CELL SERVICE 95% OF THE TRIP.
