Here we go—driving in Spain. There are a few specifics and pitfalls to avoid—especially at rental-car pickup, special parking zones, and advisory speeds. Today we’ll cover the essentials. The video has timestamps so you can jump straight to what matters to you.
Not covered in the video: Your car was towed—now what?
If you find a small yellow slip or a marking on the ground where you parked, it means:
The vehicle was towed—not stolen.
The slip/sticker usually shows:
The location and phone number of the “Depósito municipal” (municipal impound lot),
and often a case/reference number or your plate. At the nearest Policía Local, you can get the location to retrieve it (bring your plate number).
