We're starting off with Glen Canyon Dam and then heading to Horseshoe Bend for sunset views. Next is Lower Antelope Canyon which is a short distance from Horseshoe Bend. Our next stop is Monument Valley with sunrise pictures at the very spot where Forrest Gump suddenly stopped running. Lady luck was on our side that morning. First we had clouds at sunrise and wild horses showed up just to make an amazing moment even more amazing. We spent the night boondocking at Mexican Hat where we met other Vanlifers, joined them for an nitely chat by the fire and the next morning we headed to Gooseneck State Park. State Parks might be the best kept secrets in Utah and Arizona, I understand that the bar for sightseeing in both Utah and Arizona is set very high but it's certainly worth the detour. Make sure you watch to the end for our bonus sightseeing spot.
