7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.

1. Listen to the Word of God

Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.

2. Set Your Eyes on Jesus
Hebrews 12:2 NIV
“Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith….”
1 Timothy 6:10 NIV
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

…let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

3. Recognize that His Ways Are Higher than Your Ways

4. Act on your Faith
James 2:14-17 NIV Faith and Deeds
14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

1. How can we cultivate a heart that is still enough to truly hear God’s voice amid the noise of daily life?
2. What are some “earthly distractions” that easily shift our focus away from Jesus, and what practical steps can we take to fix our eyes back on Him?
3. Faith is more than believing—it’s doing. What is one area in your life where God may be calling you to act on your faith, even when you don’t fully understand His ways?
