The principle of presumption on the knowledge of law as an essential basic democratic principle applies when there are venues the laws are discussed.
Public knowledge on the GAD laws, policies and plans of the Philippine government is necessary to promote gender equity and equality in society. Discussion of the main mandates of the gender-related laws paves the way to cultivation of equitable values and public engagement in the attainment of sustainable development goals of the government and society at large.
