Bad brakes on the Brinkley, Camping at General RV, and North Carolina fun!

We start this video out with a small issue with our brakes on the Brinkley. The small issue, they were all bad! We were close to General RV in Ashland, VA. With their program "Keep you Camping", they were able to get us in same day and do a diagnostic on the brakes. We arrived on a Wednesday. Shout out to our service advisor, Nikki, who was incredible! The unfortunate part of this story is we had to wait for parts to be shipped over by Brinkley. So they didn't arrive until Monday. But General RV got the brakes done that day. We were really impressed with the service that we received from General RV. We've heard some horror stories in the past, but this was not our experience. Brinkley did a great job too, covering all diagnostics, parts and labor.
We finally got on the road to North Carolina where we stayed the week at Pelican RV Park on the marine base at Cherry Point in Havelock, NC. It was a beautiful location, possibly a hidden gem as it wasn't too crowded.
The best part of the week was spending time with our friends Tony and Sarah. We were stationed together in Japan and Texas. Our oldest kids were in kindergarten together. We had such a good time visiting historic areas such as Beaufort and New Bern.
We now head to Georgia to watch Makenzie play in a golf tournament. We'll also give you an update to the mess that is the women's golf team at Chattanooga. We couldn't have imagined that things would deteriorate so quickly.
