Out with P&W CT-1 and NH-1

We are in Wallingford in South-Central Connecticut, where we see Providence & Worcester Train CT-1, the local out of Cedar Hill Yard in New Haven, as it drops off a cut of empty stone hoppers at the Tilcon facility in Wallingford. In the first scene, we see the train being shoved across CT 68, which is Durham Road. The second scene shows P&W B40-8's 4002 and 4003 coming back lite across the road to tie back onto the remainder of the train, which will continue north to Middletown. In the next scene, we see the train as it crosses West Street in Middlefield and proceeds past the old Middlefield freight house. Check out the old caboose and boxcar on the isolated industrial track. Just a bit further up the line, we see the train as it works upgrade across Cider Mill Road. After that, we see the train as it passes Trackside Deli and crosses CT 157 in Middlefield. In the next scene, we see the train as it crosses Forest Street, Aston Lane, and Butternut Street. The last scene we see of CT-1 is up in Middletown, where they drill their train in the small yard in town. After that, it's back down to Reed's Gap, where we see the combined NH-1 and CT-1 as it departs Tilcon for Cedar Hill. The new train now consists of C40-8's 4052, 4069, and 4053, as well as B40-8 4001 with 65 loaded stone hoppers, and the power from CT-1, which is now just going along for the ride back to Cedar Hill. We see NH-1 two more times before finishing for the day: at the grade crossing at Williams Road and at the grade crossing at East Center Street, both in Wallingford, as the train heads back to Cedar Hill.
