Heavy Heart, Silent Night

Having spent many years working alongside Law Enforcement and EMS, I have often found myself at the scene of tragic automobile accidents where young lives have been cut short. Witnessing someone succumb to a senseless death is profoundly heartbreaking, and there is often nothing anyone can do to intervene.
The reality of death is undeniable. Every few seconds, somewhere, another life is lost in an automobile accident that could have been avoided. Right now, a parent is mourning the loss of a child, a sibling is grieving their brother or sister, and a spouse is coping with the loss of their partner. Life is fleeting, and we never truly know when it will end. It strikes me how we invest hundreds of dollars in vehicle insurance. Yet, many overlook the precious gift of Salvation offered by Jesus Christ, which secures our souls from eternal damnation.
Inspired by these thoughts, I wrote a song titled "Heavy Heart, Silent Night." I encourage you to reflect on this message and, when you feel the Holy Spirit urging you, open your heart, say yes, and secure your soul.
