4 String Professional Series Cigar Box Guitars by Jeff Mello

Built by Jeff Mello, owner of The Cigar Box Guitar Store, these four-string cigar box guitars are part of his professional series. Features include:
--Cigar box body reinforced and weight balanced to hang comfortably on a strap without being neck-heavy as CBGs often are
--Exotic hardwoods used throughout
--Neck features an adjustable truss rod
--Handcrafted inlays on fret board
--Electronics that mimic a Gibson Les Paul with P-90 pickups of 8.1k-ohms at the neck and 9.87k-ohms at the Bridge. Sprague .022uF and .015uF “Orange Drop” capacitors installed on the Bourns 500k-ohms tone control potentiometers for the bridge and neck pickups respectively. 3-position toggle switch allows for individual or blended pickup selection
--Action height .1” at the 12th fret and is adjustable with the hardtail bridge
--Medium fret wire fitted into stopped cuts on the fretboard so that sharp ends will not be exposed at the edges with seasonal wood contraction
--Grounded strings and shielded wiring to minimize 60Hz hum; all soldering performed to industrial IPC workmanship standards with joints covered with silicone to provide strain relief
