Returning to the podcast is Jungian analyst and author of Jung’s Map of the Soul (http://amzn.to/2p8kIS9), Dr. Murray Stein in Zürich, Switzerland.

He holds a Master of Divinity from Yale University and a Ph.D. in religion and psychological studies from the University of Chicago. He trained as a Jungian analyst at the C.G. Jung Institute Zürich where he earned a Diploma in Analytical Psychology (the degree of a Jungian analyst), and later went on to co-found the C.G. Jung Institute of Chicago where he worked as a training analyst.

He served as president of the International Association for Analytical Psychology (the governing body of Jungian analysts) and the International School of Analytical Psychology (ISAP Zürich) where he currently works as a training and supervising analyst.

Dr. Stein is a very prolific author. His most recent book, Four Pillars of Jungian Psychoanalysis (https://amzn.to/3gafChZ), was published on February 1st, and his new book, The Mystery of Transformation, will be released on July 15th (https://amzn.to/3yrDXbU).

His Collected Writings are currently being published by Chiron. The fourth volume, The Practice of Jungian Psychoanalysis (https://amzn.to/3I9ga3g), was released on March 15th. And his Map of the Soul book series for young adults (https://amzn.to/31w2hsG), published in 2019 and 2020, includes transcripts from our episodes on the Grammy-nominated K-pop group BTS. Melissa Werner is a Jungian analyst in private practice in Birmingham, Alabama. She holds master’s degrees in both early childhood education and community counseling, as well as a Ph.D. in child development, from the University of Alabama. In 2018, she completed her training as a Jungian analyst, earning a diploma in analytical psychology from the C.G. Jung Institute Zürich. Her thesis on the feral children of the drug epidemic is currently being prepared for publication. This summer, she will be traveling back to Zürich to lecture at the Jung Institute on trauma in the lives of children of addicts. She will also be presenting at this year’s International IAAP Congress for Analytical Psychology in Buenos Aires on her work on death and rebirth. Tiffany Helton holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Phoenix.
