Surah Al-Kahf (18th surah of the Qur’an) highlights trials of faith, knowledge, wealth, and power through powerful stories: the People of the Cave who were protected for their belief, the owner of two gardens who was ruined for arrogance, Musa (AS) and Khidr showing Allah’s wisdom beyond human sight, and Dhul-Qarnayn’s just leadership. The surah reminds of the fleeting nature of this world, warns against Shaytan’s deception, and emphasizes reliance on Allah and preparation for the Hereafter.
Abu Darda' reported Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as saying:
If anyone learns by heart the first ten verses of the Surah al-Kahf, he will be protected from the Dajjal.
