Introducing the New Ment + Tim Wendelboe Espresso Cups

In collaboration with Sidsel Forr Hemma and Ment, we have developed espresso cups specifically designed for the style of espressos we serve in our espresso bar.

The cups are designed to help the user capture the coffee’s fragrant aromas, while also guiding the liquid into the mouth in a way that enhances either the sweetness or acidity of the espresso.
To achieve this we ended up with designing two unique cups: Cereza and Grano. The Cereza cup is ideal for coffees with bright acidity and distinct fruity or floral notes, while the Grano cup is perfect for coffees with a rich mouthfeel and sweetness.

Both cups are larger and heavier than traditional Italian espresso cups and are made of porcelain. This allows the espresso to cool more quickly while maintaining the optimal drinking temperature for a longer time.

We have also developed the Pergamino coffee jug that we use for our filter coffee serving.

All products are hand crafted by the team at Ment, located 10 minutes outside of Lillehammer in Norway.
