Walk around and start up of a pair of Cummins and Rolls Royce powered ERF B Series. The first lorry (FBL441V) is fitted with a Cummins NHC250 and an additional tag axle conversion that was popular in the 1980s due to the maximum train weight increase to 38 tonne on five axles in the UK. The second lorry (GAO171V) is fitted with a Rolls Royce E265L Eagle diesel, the first "low torque rise" engine offered by Rolls Royce. It has 262hp @ 1950rpm and 812lbft @ 1150rpm. Both engine options were standard power in the UK in 1980.
