As a reminder, for Wizz Air, Ryanair and easyJet, you are only allowed a ‘small cabin bag’ for free.
For Wizz Air, this means your bag needs to fit these dimensions:
👜 40cm x 30cm x 20cm 👜
(Does not include bag handles or wheels, however they must not add more than 5cm to the bag).
As shown in our previous tests, this tends to be a bag that has around a 20L capacity and there are plenty of decent bags on the market that fit this 👍
However, my bag which I’ve used for over 6 years now is a lot bigger than this 🙈
👜 Patagonia Black Hole Bag 45L 👜
53 x 35 x 27 cm (lol)
This size has been discontinued but they do sell a 40L version (James has this and used it today!) which comes on sale every now and again. For those who know, it’s a total wench to try and buy because it’s very popular but they also hardly ever restock it 😣
They’ve also hitched the price up from the £90 I paid to £120 over the years but you may be able to snag a secondhand one if you set up a price alert on eBay - that would be my recommendation! 📈
This bag fits underneath the seat in front easily and on busy flights, that’s where it stays! However today, the flight wasn’t full and so there was plenty of space for us all in the overhead bins ☺️
