Lucius Cary, the Founder and Managing Director of the start-up and early stage investor Oxford Technology joins Proactive London to introduce the firm and its investments.
He has specialised in investing in science start-ups, mainly out of Oxford University for nearly 40 years, having sealed his first deal in 1983. And the company has overseen 50 investments since 2012.
Some of their new investments include MitoRx which is developing drugs to treat mitochondrial dysfunction, which underpins many inflammatory, genetic, and neurodegenerative diseases.
Ovo Biomanfacturing believes that it can approximately halve the £1bn annual cost of manufacturing vaccines globally. Following the launch, one of the world’s largest vaccine manufacturers got in touch.
And digiLab Solutions is introducing the next generation of ML/AI data cleaning and uncertainty quantification techniques to help energy, utility, and infrastructure companies make sense of all their data.
