As we bid farewell to 2023, I extend my warmest wishes for a joyous holiday season and a prosperous New Year. Your unwavering support has been instrumental in making this another extraordinary year for Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), and for that, I am sincerely grateful.
Together, we have experienced a year filled with exceptional programming that has resonated with our local communities, as well as visitors from around the world. Your support has been the catalyst for our success, allowing us to deliver engaging exhibitions, meaningful acquisitions, and diverse programs that connect art with audiences near and far.
In the past 12 months, PAMM has been a hub of creativity, hosting noteworthy shows such as "Yayoi Kusama: LOVE IS CALLING," "Joan Didion: What She Means," and the recent "Gary Simmons: Public Enemy," unveiled during Miami Art Week. Your contributions have also enabled us to expand our collection and welcome more than 250,000 patrons through our doors, fostering a vibrant cultural community.
We’ve also hosted enlightening talks with speakers like Marilyn Nance and Barbara London; captivating performances in and outside of our galleries; lively happy hour events with Backroom Sessions; and enriching youth and family programs, including PAMM Free Second Saturdays that welcomed more than 30,000 guests this year free of charge, breaking down barriers to art and arts experiences. Together, we celebrated at various events such as PAMM Presents George Clinton, Art + Soul, Corporate Luncheon, and the 10th anniversary of the building at the Art of the Party gala.
As we look toward 2024, we are excited about the prospects that lie ahead. Whether you visit us in person here in Miami or connect with us online from any corner of the world, we invite you to be part of the next chapter of PAMM's journey. Your continued support has been pivotal, and we hope you will consider extending your commitment to help us bring even more extraordinary experiences to life.
