6. Deploying 1 ¾ preconnect – The firefighter will deploy a 1 ¾ preconnect for the purpose of door entry and making fire attack.
a. FF will be standing in full PPE and SCBA awaiting instruction from Training Officer.
b. Upon instruction, FF will deploy appropriate 1 ¾ preconnect for the purpose of door entry.
c. FF will demonstrate correct deployment of preconnect taking care to deploy to correct side of door.
d. FF will demonstrate correct door entry procedure with LIFE FIRE LAYOUT.
e. Evolution will end upon satisfactory completion of required skills.
