The Chichibu Night Festival (Chichibu Yomatsuri) is a famous Japanese winter festival held annually on December 2nd and 3rd in Chichibu, Saitama, centered at Chichibu Shrine, featuring massive, ornate floats (yatai), dazzling fireworks, street food, and traditional music, making it one of Japan's top three float festivals and a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage event. The main events, including the grand float parade and spectacular fireworks, take place on December 3rd, with festivities drawing large crowds and requiring early planning for transportation and lodging.
