INSANE FILIPINO FOOD TOUR!!! In Bacolod City, Philippines

I wrapped up my time in Bacolod with this insane Filipino food tour. Martin from @The Bacolod Food Hunters joins me once again and we kick this one off in the Art District for some tasty bites.

First up is Chef Marquin Burgers Redefined. These insanely massive burgers are flamed right at your table for the final touch of perfection. You guys know howe much I love a good burger and this one did not disappoint.

While in the art district we then try some Dim Sum from Fat Choi Chinese Kitchen. Here we sample some steamed vegetable dumplings, a chicken and mushroom Sio Mai and of course the classic Filipino Sio Mai with pork and seafood.

I couldn't leave Bacolod without trying some more of the local seafood so we stopped in at Gina's Seafood Restaurant. Gina's is famous in Bacolod and you will easily see why. Here we sample beautifully flavoured chili prawns, Steamed oysters and Diwal or Angel clams. These clams can only be found in the water surrounding Negros occidental and are without question the best clams I have ever eaten in my life

Another famous and an absolute staple in Bacolod is Calea. A sweet shop that features one of Bacolod's most well know sweets. Mud Pie Ice Cream Cake. Chocolate ice cream, chocolate syrup, chocolate crumbs and shavings and shaved almonds will leave you wanting to punch yourself in the face from disbelief it is so good.

Next up, the crew at Tus Sandwiches prepares for us everything on their menu. OK, it is only three sandwiches but all of them are divine. From fresh baked baguettes, sausages with amazing snap, out of this world chicken they should not be missed when in Bacolod. Pro Tip, they are only open on Saturdays and Sundays.

The we finish my culinary experience in Bacolod with a stop at Bogs Brew HQ. A local beer garden featuring the best of Bacolod's craft beer. I sample every beer on tap and get a little hammered in the process. To try and remedy my inebriation, they end up serving me what is by far the best "bar food" I have ever eaten. Inasal, Chicharron Bulaklak, Isaw, Chorizo pizza, Grilled Chorizo, Deep Fried Pork and Ma Ling.
