Northeast Ohio Forecast: Arctic blast inbound

We have a lot of winter weather coming our way over the next seven days from dangerous cold to a winter storm. We'll start big picture with a look at the impacts to your plans and the timing.

Weather Impact Alerts are up for Friday through Monday.

We'll start at the beginning with today. Strong, gusty winds are blowing in colder air as we speak. Temps will fall slowly throughout the day with 30s to start this morning. We'll head through the 20s into the 10s later this evening with wind chill values coming down as well.

Weather Impact Alerts begin on Friday as bitterly cold air surges in. We'll start in the mid to upper 10s in the morning, but temps will tank throughout the day into the single digits with wind chill values falling into the -10 to -20 degree range late Friday. We'll likely have a band of lake snow that sinks south through the day Friday as well. Bitterly cold air sticks around on Saturday with quieter conditions.
