I use Lucas engine oil stop leak in my 1999 Chevy Silverado 1500 to attempt to seal up the rear main seal! Actually replacing the seal is definitely the best thing but it is a huge job so we are going to give this stuff a shot!
DATA
Week 1: Topped it off and it was 3/4 the way full
Week 2: About the same as week 1 but a tad better
Week 3: Same as week 2, doing pretty good
2 Months later: Pretty much like week 3, it has simmered on down.
