Sugarcult's song 'Bouncing Off the Walls' shows how someone feels when they're out of control and acting foolishly. The lyrics describe a person who keeps making bad choices and facing the consequences, like ruining their reputation and ending up on the bathroom floor. They're stuck in a bad relationship where they spend all their money on someone who's not good for them. The song also talks about using drugs to escape from their problems.

Sugarcult is a rock band from Santa Barbara, California, formed in 1998. The band's members include Tim Pagnotta on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Airin Older on bass guitar and backing vocals, Marko DeSantis on lead guitar, and Kenny Livingston on drums and percussion. In 1999, Sugarcult released their first collection of demo recordings titled "Eleven," followed by "Wrap Me Up in Plastic" in 2000. Their debut album, "Start Static," came out in 2001, featuring hit singles like "Pretty Girl," "Bouncing Off The Walls," and "Stuck in America." "Stuck in America" won the Los Angeles Regional Poll in The 2nd Annual Independent Music Awards in early 2003. After the release of "Start Static," Davis, one of the band members, left Sugarcult to enter rehab for alcoholism, inspiring Pagnotta to write the song "Champagne" about his struggles with addiction.
