Recorded on Saturday, May 23, 2020. A weekly fire/tornado siren test of the Newberry County fire/tornado siren system. This siren is tested every Saturday at 12:00 PM ET. I finally got word that this siren is now working. I believe this siren is a 2001-SRN or SRNB. I thought I was told this siren was installed in the early 1990's. This is the last unrecorded 2001 siren in Newberry County siren system. This siren replaced a Thunderbolt 1003A (blower pipe is still standing, shown in this video under the 2001-SRN). I had to use the siren audio from the second camera due to very windy conditions. Fast wail is used for fire calls. Alert is for tornado warnings. Attack/Take Cover is used for spotted tornado. I almost ran late to test due to me getting up late, departed late, and had trouble finding the siren location. This siren is located at 3128 SC-39, Chappells, SC 29037.
