My trip to London part 2. CAMDEN - MARYLEBONE -MAYFAIR

Dear friends, with this second video of the series dedicated to my recent trip to London, join me on this short tour to visit these three amazing areas of London: Camden, Marylebone and Mayfair.
Certainly, hours and hours of videos would not be enough for each of them to show them at their best, but I still hope that these impressions of mine, which are just a taste of what they can offer visitors, will make you spend a few pleasant minutes.
Starting from Camden Town, known for its huge and colorful market, with ancient origins (the Stables, 1854), which boasts street food stalls truly coming from all over the world and which has now become a very popular, truly unmissable neighborhood for anyone visiting London.
Its picturesque, colorful and boisterous atmosphere, the delightful vintage shops, the eccentric atmosphere, make it an alternative place in the city, but absolutely fascinating both by day and by night, thanks to the lively nightlife, with its countless pubs where internationally renowned artists have performed and still perform, such as Amy Winehouse, who loved this part of London so much that she wanted to live there. In fact, I also wanted to visit her last home and pay her homage.
A statue is also dedicated to her right inside the Camden Town Market as evidence of Amy's close link with this part of London.
It is also wonderful to walk along the Regent's Canal near the lock and admire this different glimpse of London, truly full of charm, even from another perspective.
Finally we wanted to visit the famous and suggestive Highgate Cemetery, considered a monument of great historical interest by English Heritage.
And indeed, one cannot fail to be struck by the extraordinary nature of this burial place, built around the mid-1800s.
The cemetery is divided into two areas but we only visited the western one, the oldest, due to lack of time. And there, we also paid homage to the great pop singer George Michael, who rests in this historic cemetery. A really moving moment for me, always been his fan.
Marylebone is an elegant residential area which, starting from the very lively Marylebone High Street, where the highly visited Madame Tussauds Museum and the one dedicated to Sherlock Holmes are also located, continues with a more relaxed, almost town-like atmosphere, where elegant buildings and shops they make a good show of themselves. A really lovely part of London, which I loved truly much.
And then Mayfair, one of the most prestigious areas of the city, with its splendid georgian buildings, parks, the most elegant shopping streets and luxurious Hotels.
My tour ends between the iconic Piccadilly Circus, London's Times Square, one of the most photographed corners of the city as well as one of the major traffic hubs of the city and the very lively Leicester Square, which is actually located in Soho, an area that unfortunately I only touched upon and which I plan to visit more extensively when I (surely) return to London.
