1. More Space:
Moving to Bushland Texas means being on at least an acre or more of land. It also means you are buying a more spacious home than what you would normally find in Amarillo Texas.

2. Growth:
Bushland Texas is building, or in the process of building up to 1,600 new construction homes to satisfy the amount of demand! With two new schools being built in Bushland Texas (a new high school and a new elementary school), Bushland Texas has it's priorities in the right place, serving the community and it's families and children.

Cons:

1. The Weather & Wind:
The weather in Bushland Texas is so very dynamic and can be hard to plan around as it changes so quickly in such a short amount of time. Heat index in the summer can reach 120 degrees Fahrenheit and can go all the way down to -20 degrees Fahrenheit will chill in the winter time. Bushland Texas, as I'm categorizing this with Amarillo Texas, at the time of shooting this video, is the second windiest city in America.

2. Lack Of Activities:
Moving to & Living in Bushland Texas means living in the "country" or being 14 miles from Amarillo Texas. As this is a smaller community, there are a couple of gas stations, a couple of restaurants, a post office, a few small businesses, a couple of churches, and that's about it! If you are looking for activities, Bushland Texas might not be for you.

3. Prices & Deed Restrictions:
Moving to & Living in Bushland Texas means experiencing unusually high property taxes when compared to most places around the country. For example, most areas in Texas are between 1.4% to 1.8% property tax rate
